As I am writing this, it's the Day-7 of my country-Malaysia enforced of MCO (Movement Control Order) over the Covid-19. Never been in my life I would ever thought of Malaysia will one day falls into such a crucial situation .
I know it's not easy guys. Life is hard and the stress of maintaining the living is insane. I am so thankful that I get to work from home still and get paid as usual. I never thank God enough for that. However, I am really worried about those who needs to runs their business to earn for their living. I really cant imagine how would they actually overcome this tough situation with this limitless support from our government. My prayers is with you. Stand strong!
This hard times helps me to realize that we should never take having an usual life routine for granted, never take going out and hanging out with friends for granted. Never take going to church services as granted. Never take a full shelves at the store for granted.
I am so blessed to have good friends , great colleagues and amazing brothers sisters in Christ family, they are all very kind and lovely. But I have also noticed an overwhelming increase in hatred, division and meanness around the world, everyone slander each other without hesitation from behind an anonymous screen.

I do think that as the rest of the world catches up with this time of self-quarantine, this would be even more integral as time passes. It has just begun for some countries, whilst for many, it has already been weeks of isolation, stress and nervousness. Netflix is good for the first few days, but trust me, weeks later the novelty can wear out & reality sets in. This can be a lot for those at risk- the elderly, the week and yes for those who already in ill. The temptation to take out our stress on others can grow stronger as edginess heightens. My only hope is that we can all be more aware of this ahead of time and choose light instead of selfishness and greed.
We're all in this together. This too shall pass, but the way we treat one another during this time will leave long term impacts on all of us. Kindness, and a little bit of compassion and selflessness can go a long way, Stay safe & healthy, whatever country you may be in!
When this ends, may we find that we have become more like the people we wanted to be, we were called to be, we hope to be and may we stay that way-better for each other because of the worst.-Laura Kelly Fanucci
